December 12, 2017 – Salon VIP Lounge at Québec Jean Lesage International has been awarded the Priority Pass North America Airport Lounge of the Year Award.
Now in its thirteenth year, the awards are based on 72,000 ratings by Priority Pass members and recognize airport lounges offering the best service, experience, refreshments and business facilities. Priority Pass is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year and operates the world’s largest lounge access programme, with over 1,000 airport lounges in 500 cities.
With a central fireplace to make travelers feel at home, a complimentary massage chair and a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere, the Salon VIP lounge is known for the high level of comfort it provides its guests. This year’s win follows the lounge being ‘Highly Commended’ in the same category last year.

The Turkish Airlines Lounge in Washington has been recognised for offering the Best Quality Refreshments. Its signature dishes of lamb with baked eggplant and Mediterranean salmon, followed by Turkish tea or coffee and fresh baklava is very popular with travelers. The Club BWI in Baltimore has been recognized for the exceptional service and attitude of its lounge staff.
The Club MCO at Orlando International Airport in Florida took home two awards this year, coming in top for Best Business Facilities and ‘Highly Commended’ in the overall North America category. Its ‘Productivity Zone’, designed to help guests conduct business calls in private and provide a quiet space to work, has been very popular with travelers.
In Central and South America, Aeroportos VIP Club in Brasilia has been ‘Highly Commended’ and the VIP Lounge (East) in Mexico’s Guadalajara Miguel Hidalgo Airport is also ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Quality of Refreshments category.

Priority Pass received over 72,000 ratings from its members in this year’s awards, via the lounge rating function on the Priority Pass website and app. Members provide ratings on a set of criteria covering overall lounge quality, refreshments, staff, business facilities and ambience.
