Vancouver, B. C. (September 23, 2015): Today Vancouver Airport Authority,
the leading provider of automated passport control kiosk technology,
announced that its BorderXpress kiosks in use at Hartsfield-Jackson
International Airport (ATL) are now able to process visa-carrying travelers
including business or tourist visa holders, Mexican travelers with border
crossing cards and foreign airline crew members. As the final phase of the
APC rollout, this enhancement increases eligibility from U.S. and Canadian
passport holders, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and 38 visa waiver
countries outlined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), to virtually
all international arrivals at ATL.
First introduced in May 2014, the Hartsfield-Jackson's 74 BorderXpress APC
kiosks are currently processing more than 70 percent of the airport's
international passengers and have greatly helped shorten customs lines and
overall airport wait times by up to 50 percent. With the introduction of the
APC Phase 4.0 and the ability to serve almost all travelers, ATL is
expecting to further decrease wait times continuing to better the travel
experience for its passengers.
"We're very excited to work with our airport partners like
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to improve their border experience
for passengers" said Craig Richmond, President and CEO of the Vancouver
Airport Authority. "Our Innovative Travel Solutions team will continue to
deliver new products and solutions to airports to make air travel easier and
cut wait times."
Additionally, BorderXpress now offers facial recognition technology
capabilities. All current BorderXpress airport customers will receive the
APC Phase 4.0 upgrade as well as the facial recognition feature in the
coming months. BorderXpress APC has helped over 30 million passengers clear
the border safely and quickly with more than 650 kiosks in use at 24 airport
locations, more than any other provider.

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
