ATLANTA - 12 November 2015 - SITA today announced that Randy Pizzi has
joined as President, Americas, responsible for developing and driving the
strategic direction for SITA in the region. He will be based at SITA's
Americas headquarters in Atlanta.
Randy joins SITA from Rockwell Collins/ARINC where he held a number of key
roles including the establishment, as Managing Director, of the ASIA Pacific
Division in Singapore. He then became VP of International Business, based in
London, where he was instrumental in expanding the company's international
airline communications and airport IT businesses.
Francesco Violante, SITA CEO, said: "Randy brings extensive industry
experience and a deep understanding of the competitive challenges facing
airlines and airports today. I am confident he will be instrumental in
driving growth for SITA in the region by helping our customers remain
competitive, efficient and profitable."
