TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) has named Chris Deitz, C.M., as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Deitz will join the TAA’s Executive Team in leading the oversight and administration of Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN). He began his new role on March 26, 2024.
In this position, Mr. Deitz will oversee the Operations Division consisting of Airside Operations, Police Department, Fire Department, Maintenance, Custodial Services, and Emergency Management. Prior to joining the TAA, Mr. Dietz was the Director of Operations and Maintenance for the Rapid City Regional Airport. He has also worked for Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority as ARFF/Operations Supervisor.

Mr. Deitz received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Colorado State University. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and served as President of the South Dakota Airport Managers Association.
