Alexandria, VA - The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) announces the official launch of their newly re-designed website (www.acconline.org). The website, which went live in early March, features key upgrades such as a modern design, an enhanced member search function, and an overall more engaging user experience. All key features will be optimized for mobile devices.
The refreshed ACC website will provide users with easily accessible, high-quality content that is updated on a regular basis. This information can range from aviation news to ACC events and ACC member news, as well as direct links to online training programs. Visitors will also be able to access member details using the newly upgraded 'Member Search' database.
"ACC is excited to roll out our brand new website design, which will greatly enhance the user experience," said ACC President T.J. Shulz. "ACC Members will have updated information at their fingertips, including a better interface for their mobile devices. The website will also strengthen ACC's role as being a repository of relevant information and technical content for the entire aviation industry."
The website's new look and functionality will allow members to better interact with the association online. Members and non-members are encouraged to explore the website and provide feedback.
ACC worked closely with Association Technology Solutions (ATS) to upgrade the new ACC website. ATS is an Authorized iMIS Solutions Provider (AiSP) company experienced in computer technology, association management, and accounting.
Fairbanks International Airport Baggage Transport Conveyor Enhanced With Mod Drive™ System
Airports face a host of unique industry challenges, such as meeting efficiency regulations and seeking out the best maintenance practices to reduce costs and keep operations flowing. In today’s current economic climate, any potential cost savings can go a long way.
In 2019, Alaska’s Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) sought to modernize its equipment and operations. They were dissatisfied with the performance of the gearmotors on their baggage transport conveyors and began searching for new suppliers. Regal approached FAI with a solution that could improve equipment performance and simplify maintenance, with the added benefit of energy cost savings: the Hub City® MOD Drive™ system.
This white paper discusses the hardware deployed, the test results and the annualized expectations for ROI.
