New Service Continues SEA’s International Services Increase
SEATTLE – Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) welcomes the announcement by Delta Air Lines for new international daily service to Taipei (TPE) beginning June 6, 2024. This continues SEA’s increase of international services since the pandemic and the rapid success of the new International Arrivals Facility (IAF) to welcome the world to the Puget Sound region.
Delta is marking its 90th anniversary in Seattle, dating back to the start of operations by Northwest Airways in 1933. Plus this will be Delta’s inaugural nonstop flight to Taipei from the United States and the first Delta aircraft operation to TPE since 2017 via Narita International Airport.
“The Port of Seattle welcomes today’s announcement as Delta continues to build on SEA’s status as a hub and its West Coast gateway to Asia,” said Port of Seattle Commission President Sam Cho. “With the addition of the new International Arrivals Facility in 2022, SEA is providing a dramatic welcome to the world visiting and doing business in the Puget Sound region. We are excited Delta is demonstrating its commitment to continuing to build on that vision.”
PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
