“Residents of the Region will now be able to be in Ottawa or Montreal for the business day and fly right back home again that evening,” said Chris Wood, General Manager at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. “With only a 20 minute stop in Peterborough, the convenience provided by this new service is already proving popular with some dates already sold out!”
Flights will operate Monday to Friday from Waterloo Region with one-way fares including taxes and fees to Peterborough at $99.99; Gatineau (Ottawa) at $285.07; and, Montreal at $315.72. Seats are available for purchase online now at www.nextjet.ca.
“We offer a unique flying experience which is more like a private charter offered at a regular price. It is much different than a conventional airline,” said Tan Ahmed, president of NEXTJETCANADA. “Our set price structure allows people the flexibility to travel when they need to, whether you book three months in advance or three hours before departure the price does not change.”

2022 Charlotte Douglas International Airport Report of Achievement
Giving back to the community is central to what Charlotte Douglas International Airport and its operator, the City of Charlotte Aviation Department, is about, and last year was no different.
Throughout 2022, while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued our efforts to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community. Of particular note, we spent the year sharing stories of how Connections Don't Just Happen at the Terminal - from creating homeownership and employment opportunities to supporting economic growth through small-business development and offering outreach programs to help residents understand the Airport better.
This whitepaper highlights the construction projects, initiatives, programs and events that validate Charlotte Douglas as a premier airport.
