NASHVILLE, TN., January 25, 2024 / -- TDOT Aeronautics Division and the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission are excited to announce a $23 million, 5-year cooperative purchasing agreement through Sourcewell with Hi-Lite Airfield Services for Airfield Pavement and Marking Maintenance at Tennessee public-use General Aviation Airports. With this agreement, Tennessee will continue to maintain and extend the asset life of pavements at these airports by applying crack-seal, seal coat, slurry surfacing, concrete repair, and marking maintenance as needed through negotiated work orders.
TDOT Aeronautics continues to invest in general aviation airports as they are a critical component of the nation's and state's transportation networks, linking and providing access to regional, national, and global transportation systems.
